3 Days of Design in Copenhagen
Last week we were in Milano and for the first time we were exhibiting during the world's most exclusive design fair, Salone del Mobile. This week we are in Copenhagen exhibiting at four venues during 3 Days of Design. Read more about the Milan installation in Wallpaper and Kinfolk and read about Copenhagen below.
During the exhibition 3 Days of Design in Copenhagen this week we are exhibiting our full assortment including our Limited Edition made with Josephine A Hoffmeyer from File Under Pop, our numbered and 100% traceable cognac leather boxes made with SPOOR, and our new Magazineholder designed by Anne Heinsvig.
Limited Edition with Josephine A Hoffmeyer from File Under Pop
Our newest Limited Edition is made in collaboration with Josefine A Hoffmeyer, founder of File Under Pop. Josephine knows a thing or two about colours and materials. With her unique feeling for surfaces and their transformational powers, she's chosen the KIKU fabric from Italian Dedar to dress the limited edition collaboration with August Sandgren. With her second to none understanding of colours, she has paired the fabric with two amazing complementary semi-aniline oekotex leather colours for the interior of the boxes. The result is simply outstanding!
The Limited Edition comes in our Bookbox medium, Jewelbox and keyring, and is already now available online.
Numbered and 100% traceable cognac leather boxes made with SPOOR
This numbered Bookbox collection is crafted in 100% traceable leather – from individual free-range cow to final product. We are incredibly excited to announce this collaboration with SPOOR, a Danish leather brand that works according to values of animal welfare, craftsmanship and traceability. Similar to us. For us, it is a core value to create responsibly, and we’ve long been using surplus leather from leading furniture and fashion house that would otherwise have gone to waste. Collaborating with SPOOR, we took the opportunity to go one step further - using leather from free-range cattle, raised by Danish farmers who put animal welfare and nature conservation at the forefront of their production.
The colour of the first SPOOR collection is cognac, and every box is numbered as there are only a few of each. The SPOOR box comes in four sizes, large, medium, fusion and jewelbox and is already now available online.
The Magazineholder designed by Anne Heinsvig
With the Magazineholder, we’ve revised one of our earliest designs, drawn by Anne Heinsvig and with a small twist of Oivind Slaatto around the strap and the button. It was always functional and aesthetic, but only now do we feel the time is right to launch it! Designed as an alternative to classic magazine holders, it beautifully fits the space next to the sofa or armchair – or next to your desk. It is created to fit most shelves, making it a candidate to be a document organizer too. The Magazineholder can be seen during 3 Days of Design but will only launch later this year.
