Copenhagen, Denmark – From 17 to 20 June 2025, August Sandgren welcomes you to THE MAKER’S GALLERY, a collaborative exhibition with Origin Made. Located in the calm setting of Hotel d’Angleterre’s Creations Store, the gallery invites you to explore craftsmanship through a tactile and thoughtfully curated experience.

A space for pause
THE MAKER’S GALLERY is a quiet encounter with the human rhythm of making. It offers a moment to slow down and appreciate objects that are both functional and beautiful. Through refined materials and enduring techniques, every object in the gallery tells a story of craftsmanship and care.

Craft in motion
At the heart of the exhibition are August Sandgren’s most beloved pieces: leather boxes, the Jewelbox and the Watchbox. On Thursday, 19 June, join us for a live demonstration by one of our skilled box makers and witness the making of our signature leather boxes up close.

A collaborative canvas
Accompanying our own work, Origin Made contributes a distinct voice to the space. With hand-crafted vases, woven sculptures and sculptural lighting pieces, their work deepens the sensory experience of the gallery and complements the story of material and technique.

We are open from 10:00 to 18:00 each day.
To our Swedish and Finnish friends who celebrate Midsummer from 18–20 June — we will be open already on 17 June to welcome you ahead of the festivities.
